The Japanese have a great liking for fresh fish. But the waters close to Japan have not held many fish for decades. So, to feed the Japanese population, fishing boats got bigger and went farther than ever. The farther the fishermen went, the longer it took to bring back the fish. The longer it took them to bring back the fish, the staler they grew. The fish were not fresh and the Japanese did not like the taste.
To solve this problem, fishing companies installed freezers on their boats. They would catch the fish and freeze them at sea. Freezers allowed the boats to go farther and stay longer. However, the Japanese could taste the difference between fresh and frozen fish. And they did not like the taste of frozen fish. The frozen fish brought a lower price. So, fishing companies installed fish tanks. They would catch the fish and stuff them in the tanks, fin to fin. After a little hashing around, the fish stopped moving. They were tired and dull, but alive.
Unfortunately, the Japanese could still taste the difference. Because the fish did not move for days, they lost their fresh-fish taste. The Japanese preferred the lively taste of fresh fish, not sluggish fish. The fishing industry faced an impending crisis! But today, it has got over that crisis and has emerged as one of the most important trades in that country! How did Japanese fishing companies solve this problem? How do they get fresh-tasting fish to Japan ?
To keep the fish tasting fresh, the Japanese fishing companies still put the fish in the tanks. But now they add a small shark to each tank. The shark eats a few fish, but most of the fish arrive in a very lively state. The fish are challenged and hence are constantly on the move. And they survive and arrive in a healthy state! They command a higher price and are most sought-after. The challenge they face keeps them fresh! Humans are no different. L. Ron Hubbard observed in the early 1950's: "Man thrives, oddly enough, only in the presence of a challenging environment. "
George Bernard Shaw said: " Satisfaction is death!" Morals Of story –
1. If you are steadily conquering challenges, you are happy. Your challenges keep you energized. You are excited to try new solutions. You have fun. You are alive! Instead of avoiding challenges, jump into them.
2. Do not postpone a task, simply because its challenging. Catch these challenges by their horns and vanquish them. Enjoy the game.
3.If your challenges are too large or too numerous, do not give up. Giving up makes you tired. Instead, reorganize. Find more determination, more knowledge, more help.
4. Don't create success and revel in it in a state of inertia. You have the resources, skills and abilities to make a difference.
So put a shark in your tank and see how far you can really go!

Ordinary People
Walking on the road, you pass so many people. Some look confident, purposeful, well-dressed, well-maintained. But the majority appear so ordinary, wear ill-fitting clothes, unfashionable footwear, have too much fat or too little, nothing remarkable about them, nothing attractive.
But yet someone somewhere eagerly waits for this unimpressive man to come home every evening.Someone's entire world turns around the strength of this frail-looking woman.Someone's very purpose in life hinges on this brash youngster cutting through traffic.Someone knows only the shelter of these old arms each time their world begins to crumble.Someone will count hours, minutes, and weep like a child when this pock-marked face alights from a long-distance train.
Someone will cave in, crack up, and never be the same again if this one person disappears from the face of the world.
There are no ordinary people.Drive carefully

Gone are the days
Gone are the days!!!
When The school reopened in June, And we settled in our new desks and benches!
When we queued up in book depot, And got our new booksand notes!
When we wanted two Sundays and no Mondays, yet managed to line up daily for the morning prayers.
We learnt writing withslates and pencils, andProgressed To fountain pens and ball pens and then Micro tips!
When we began drawing with crayons and evolved toColor pencils and finally sketch pens!
When we started calculating first with tables and then with Clarke's tables and advanced to Calculators and computers!
When we chased one another in the corridors in Intervals, and returned to the classrooms Drenched in sweat!
When we had lunch in classrooms, corridors, Playgrounds, under the trees and even in cycle sheds!
When all the colors in the world, Decorated the campus on the Second Saturdays!
When a single P.T. period in the week's Time Table,Was awaited more eagerly than the monsoons!
When cricket was played with writing pads as bats, And Neckties and socks rolled into balls! When few played "kabadi" and "Kho-Kho" in scorching sun, While others simply played"book cricket" in the Confines of classroom! Of fights but no conspiracies, Of Competitions but seldom jealousy!
When we used to watch Live Cricket telecast,In the opposite house in Intervals and Lunch breaks!
When few rushed at 3:45 to "Conquer" window seats in our School bus! While few others had "Big Fun", "peppermint","kulfi", " milk ice !" and "sharbat !" at 4o Clock!
Gone are the days Of Sports Day, and the annual School Day , And the one-month long preparations for them.
Gone are the days Of the stressful Quarterly, Half Yearly and Annual Exams, And the most enjoyed holidays after them!
Gone are the days Of tenth and twelfth standards, when We Spent almost the whole year writing revision tests!
We learnt, We enjoyed,We played,We won, We lost,We laughed,We cried, We fought,We thought.
With so much fun in them, so many friends, So much experience, all this and more! Gone are the days When we used to talk for hours with our friends!
Now we don't have time to say a `Hi'! Gone are the days When we played games on the road! Now we Code on the road with laptop!
Gone are the days When we saw stars Shining at Night! Now we see stars when our code doesn't Work!
Gone are the days When we sat to chat with Friends on grounds!
Now we chat in chat rooms.....!
Gone are the days Where we studied just to pass!
Now we study to save our job! Gone are the days Where we had no money in our pockets and still fun filled on our hearts!!
Now we have the atm as well as credit card but with an empty heart!! Gone are the days Where we shouted on the road!
Now we don't shout even at home Gone are the daysWhere we got lectures from all!Now we give lectures to all... like the one I'm doing now....!! Gone are the days But not the memories, which will be Lingering in our hearts for ever and ever and Ever and ever and ever ..... Gone are the Days.... But still there are lot more Days to come in our Life!! NO MATTER HOW BUSY YOU ARE ,DONT FORGET TO LIVE THE LIFE THAT STILLEXISTS……….
